Does it ever strike you as a little strange how the eco-warriors on the Left who are so bent on protecting the populace from the dangers of mercury contained in coal never seem to mention the dangers of mercury found in injectable vaccines?
That’s right, the Lefty environmentalist crowd are clamoring to shut down the nation’s coal industry, in large part because – they say – the mercury released by burning coal poses a serious health threat.
Here’s an excerpt from a page on the Sierra Club website:
“Burning coal releases toxic mercury that rains down into rivers and streams. This poison then accumulates in the food chain, eventually making its way into our bodies when we eat contaminated fish.
“Mercury is a powerful neurotoxin that can damage the brain and nervous system. Mercury is of special concern to women who are pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant, since exposure to mercury can cause developmental problems, learning disabilities, and delayed onset of walking and talking in babies and infants.”
There are, of course, real health concerns regarding environmental mercury exposure, and coal burning is certainly one of the main contributors to the problem.
And as much as we need to pursue clean, renewable energy sources, the fact remains that we are still dependent on fossil fuels, and coal is still one of the best energy resources we have, in terms of keeping our dependence on foreign oil to a minimum.
The coal industry is also an important sector of the American economy. EPA regulations have had a “devastating impact” on communities that depend on coal mining, according to CNS News:
“Between September 2014 and May 2016, the U.S. lost about 191,000 jobs in the mining industry … coal production in West Virginia alone has declined by 28 percent, and more than 9,000 coal-mining jobs have been lost as a result of government regulations.”
Obviously, there are no simple solutions regarding the coal debate. There are indeed health concerns that need to be weighed against the need for the coal industry’s survival, but the point is that the Left seems to have no such concerns when it comes to mercury exposure through vaccines. In other words, it’s not okay to breathe mercury emitted by burning coal, but it is okay to be exposed to mercury as long as it comes in an injectable vaccine?
This hypocrisy is consistent with the typical harebrained liberal approach, which involves the cherry-picking of its pet causes, often based on political and partisan concerns which have little to do with day-to-day reality – especially the day-to-day reality of unemployed coal miners and parents whose children have been sickened, and sometimes killed, by tainted vaccines.
As Health Ranger Mike Adams wrote, “There is an overwhelming amount of scientific evidence that conclusively and convincingly establishes the irrefutable fact that mercury is toxic when injected into the bodies of children via vaccines.”
It has been scientifically proven that mercury in vaccines causes autism, speech disorders, retardation, developmental delay and many other serious, negative health conditions.
Yet thimerosal (mercury) is still being used in vaccines, and aside from a few courageous voices in the alternative media, very little is being said or done about it – particularly among those on the Left.
President Trump’s appointment of the new FDA commissioner is expected soon and could have a big impact on vaccine policy. Trump’s openness to reevaluating the FDA’s stance on vaccines is a hopeful sign that the government is moving in the right direction – with no help from the Left, of course. …
